Overview
The problem
The business does far more than sell balloons: styling, hire, ready-made packages and several stores. The existing site made it hard to see any of that.
What I did
A balloon and party retailer selling supplies, styling and hire from several stores across Melbourne. Their existing site made it hard to see everything they offer.
The redesign organises the business around what customers are planning: occasions, ready-made decor packages, a party gallery with “get this look”, product pages with pickup or delivery, a step-by-step party planner and store pages with live opening hours.
This is a redesign proposal. The business name, logo and contact details have been changed.
Key decisions
- 01
Start from the celebration
Birthdays, baby showers, weddings and corporate events each lead to the packages, balloons and hire pieces that suit them.
- 02
Real setups you can copy
A gallery of past parties, each listing what’s in it, with “Get this look” to start an enquiry for something similar.
- 03
A planner instead of a contact form
Seven quick questions turn a vague enquiry into everything the team needs to send ideas and a price.
- 04
Key actions always in reach
On phones, a bottom bar keeps Shop, Call, Plan a party and Bag one tap away.
